After spending nearly thirty four years sharing a public education classroom with thousands of young people, I acknowledge my gratitude to them for that rather enjoyable privilege. So what does one do now, no longer busily working the classroom? Well, I soon found my energies and focus entertaining notions of post-classroom human good.
As a small way of saying Thank You to the many students with whom I have worked, I have started a Small Steps Foundation to assist a struggling parent with sending a child to a daycare center that offers love and protection, a healthy foodfare and a quality early education. To assist a child who innocently needs the help of others dares me to dream and work hard to help fulfil that dream.
I am contributing financial resources on a regularly ongoing basis to help this dream being realized. And I kindly ask that if you could offer any financial resource as you consider manageable, then Small Steps Foundation would be very grateful in helping achieve this dream. This is but a small step in a child's life, but as children have so graciously taught me it is with small steps they begin their life.
